Troy Rawlings
Signature Group Real Estate
Born and raised in Utah, Troy learned the construction trade from his father at an early age. He honed his hands-on skills working for a local contractor through high school and during summers while earning a degree in Economics from the University of Utah. He later earned a Master’s in Finance from American University before building a successful corporate career across consulting, mining finance, tech, and medical industries.
Combining his corporate finance acumen with his practical building experience—and inspired by endless hours of the BiggerPockets podcast—Troy began investing in real estate using the BRRRR (Buy, Renovate, Rent, Refinance, Repeat) strategy. After transitioning into house flipping, he discovered that building from the ground up was far more rewarding and reliable than navigating the unknowns of existing structures.
Today, Troy focuses on building custom and spec homes throughout the Salt Lake Valley. He specializes in infill development—taking dated properties with obsolete layouts and transforming them into modern, functional homes designed for today’s lifestyle. As a licensed General Contractor and Realtor® in the state of Utah, Troy brings rare financial discipline, expert craftsmanship, and a seamless experience to every project.

Can I build a new home in my current neighborhood?
A new home on your existing property may be an option. The first step is to review your goals alongside the lot, existing home, applicable zoning, and required approvals. Feasibility depends on the individual property.
Can I customize an upcoming Mountain Peak home?
Some current or upcoming projects may offer customization. Lakeline Drive is marked as open to customization inquiries. Available choices depend on the project stage, plans, approvals, and construction progress.
